Barb Cooper of Cincinnati Food Tours has been telling the food story in her hometown for quite some time. She has switched up a few things to accommodate COVID protocols, but she’s not letting that stop her from sharing her delicious city!

How has CVOID affected your business and community?
First tour to be cancelled was March 14. I designed a Food Tour To Go gift box and also offered Take Home Tours until I was able to restart in-person experiences on may 30. We now do primarily outdoor experiences, picnic-style with takeaway foods.
What will you be doing differently with your tours as you “reopen?”
We are doing mostly outdoor experiences designed to pick up food from various restaurants or market vendors to eat picnic-style in a park or courtyard setting. Some restaurants are able to work with us using outdoor dining or large spaces that allow social distancing. Guides and guests wear masks except when eating and drinking.
